The 'Voices for Benin' choir arrives in Benidorm in defense of children's rights
The African choir 'Voices for Benin' will perform in Benidorm on June 21 at 9 p.m. in the Óscar Esplá auditorium in Parque de l'Aigüera. The concert is part of the tour he is doing this summer through different Spanish cities with his new music and dance show to defend children's rights. Organized by the Together for Life Foundation, it is a collaboration of the Benidorm City Council.
This foundation project seeks to make visible and publicize African culture, dance, traditions, percussion and song. It is the fourth time they have visited Spain. The choir comprises 25 young artists, between 6 and 18 years old, who make Benin vibrate with their voices, sounds and colours while expressing their message to the world through their African rhythms, songs, dances and drums.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for 10 euros through the NGO's website at the link https://www.juntosporlavida.org/producto/concierto-benidorm-2024/ and a zero line has been arranged for people who wish to collaborate in the event at the address https://www.juntosporlavida.org/producto/convertir-filacero-2024/
This is a concert show that the Valencian NGO prepares at its music school in Calaví (Benin), which tours Spain and has toured for three years. 'Together for Life' works with children in projects on education, music, literacy, rights, protection and values in that country, one of the most impoverished in Africa.
