Users of Double Love and other groups prepare the circuit of the III Solidarity Cross Country on the paths of El Moralet
Solidarity registrations are now open
Users of the Doble Amor occupational center have participated this morning, together with representatives of other groups, in the preparation tasks for the circuit that will be held this Sunday, October 30, by the III Cross Country Solidarity Cross organized by the entity in collaboration with the Department of Sports and with the Benidorm Athletics Club. A solidarity activity that this year will be carried out on the new trails and paths of El Moralet Park and that is open to the entire population since it will be carried out in the modalities of the cross, hikers, Nordic walking, and walk of the pet, each with different distances.
The preparation day for the circuit began at 10:30 a.m. from the path located next to the athletics track and the technical services of the City Council, Local Police, the Els Tolls neighborhood association, the Brotons Group together with Coca Cola, the concessionaire companies Actúa and FCC and the Benidorm Cycling Union.
The Councilor for Sports, Mariló Cebreros, has invited the public "to join this solidary and healthy event and support Doble Amor Centre with it, which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary, a very important event and in which I am convinced that Benidorm He is going to turn to this entity that carries out such important social work”.
Cebreros recalled that "registration for the III Doble Amor Solidarity Cross is open on the website www.grupobrotons.com and costs only 10.50 euros". In addition, "since it is a solidarity initiative, there is also the possibility of collaborating with this cause through Row 0". With the registration, the runners will receive, in addition to the classic number, a set of sports products, and an exclusive t-shirt commemorating the III Cross, and the fiftieth anniversary.
The central test, the 8-kilometer Cross, will begin at 10:00 in all categories; while the children's races will do so at 11:30 am. For its part, the hiking trail and the Nordic walk, both 4 kilometers long, will start at 09:30 a.m.; while the participants in the pet walk mode will start at 11:00 am and will cover a distance of 2 kilometers.
The organization has planned the installation of a bar in which athletes and the general public will be able to regain strength and whose proceeds will also go to the maintenance of Doble Amor Centre.
