The Urban Scene Advisory Council has met on Tuesday the details of the Strategy for Sustainable and Integrative Urban Development (EDUSI) that Benidorm is preparing to try to access the European funds that will allow it to carry out in the next six years a series of actions that will improve the quality of life of citizens. One of those responsible for the EDUSI draft has detailed to the members of the Council which is the proposed area of action and some of the actions that are proposed to improve the quality and access to technologies (ICT), reducing CO2 emissions, protecting the environment and efficiency resources, as well as combating inequality and poverty by promoting inclusion policies. During the meeting it was recalled that they have articulated mechanisms of participation through the web www.edusibenidorm.org with the objective of gathering citizen information about the reality of Benidorm and its needs. In addition, it has been decided to give a new deadline of 15 days to present allegations or contributions to the agreement about ecological urban gardens, following the request that was made yesterday from the Municipal Council of Environment.
