Tricks, illusionism and impossible challenges fill the streets of Benidorm this weekend in II Festival of Magic
There will be performances in different points of the city and the central gala will be held on Sunday in Benidorm Palace
Some of the best national and international magicians are preparing the performances that will be displayed at the II Festival of Magic, which is celebrated this weekend and in which they have been programmed outdoor activities in different points of the city and in the facilities of Benidorm Palace and Benidorm Circus. A festival that in this second edition will be distributed in two days and will take the streets to make the whole city participate in the magic.
The program begins on Saturday, May 27, at 11.00 am at the intersection of Gambo and Martínez Alejos streets with the illusion of Titto and Pascal, and the numbers of escapism of Pedro III. At noon, Mag Malastruc will offer a children's magic workshop for children in Escuelas street. At 1300 hours, the Casa del Fester auditorium will host a conference about the World of Magic, which will be accompanied by a close-up magic exhibition by Juan Mayoral and Lionel Gallardo. All activities planned for Saturday morning will be free.
In the afternoon, from 6:00 p.m., it will be time for 'Chapeau', Magic and Circus show in the Magic Circus's big tent, with locations at 50% of the usual price.
On Sunday, at 11:00 am, the public will be able to experience the uncanny challenge of 'Driving in the Blind' to be faced by the escapist Pedro III on the Spanish Armada Avenue; While at 13.00 in the Plaza Castellana the magician Domingo Artes will offer a free show. The colophon to this II Magic City Festival of Benidorm will be the Great International Gala, in which there will be space for comic, children's magic and great illusions and in which the local magician David Climent, Juan Mayoral, Mag Malastruc, Huang Zheng, Lautaro and Mago Murphy.
The gala will start at 18.30 hours at the Benidorm Palace. The price of adult admission is 15 euros, and 10 euros as a child, and can be purchased in the lockers of the party room and in the kiosk of the Triangular Plaza.
