The Valencian artist was accompanied by the Mediterranean Symphony Orchestra
The tribute to Nino Bravo in the voice of Francisco completes the capacity of Julio Iglesias
With full capacity. This is how the concert in tribute to Nino Bravo ended last night by the hand of another of the great voices that the Valencian Community has given, that of Francisco. Accompanied on stage by around 40 musicians from the Mediterranean Symphony Orchestra, Francisco paid tribute to the ill-fated artist, from Aielo del Malferit, by reviewing some of the most emblematic songs from his short but highly outstanding discography. The concert began with the same song with which it would close, ‘Mi Tierra’, a song that served Francisco to make a statement about the Valencian region and the important melodic voices that ‘la terreta’ has given.
A Francisco who said he was delighted to return to act in Benidorm and in Julio Iglesias auditorium, and who performed such mythical compositions as 'Noelia', 'Un beso y una flor' or 'Te quiero, te quiero', and who sang together to the public the emblematic 'Libre'. During the second part of the concert, the Valencian artist opted for his repertoire to return to Nino Bravo in the closing song.
The musical program returns to Benidorm next weekend with a new edition of the Iberia Festival, which will also take place in Julio Iglesias auditorium in Parque de l’Aigüera.
