Today Benidorm hosts the presentation of the book album '100 years on the road' by Miguel López and Jorge Flaco

This afternoon, the Benidorm Town Hall Assembly Hall will host the presentation of the album book '100 Años en la Carretera'. It will be a presentation concert that will take place at 7:00 p.m. with free admission until capacity is reached.

The 'book' celebrates the life and work of Jack Kerouac (1922-1969), a fundamental writer of the Beat Generation who disrupted literature around the world. The work is the result of the conjunction of talents brought together by a shared passion for the author of 'On the Road'. His musical biography delves into the mark that jazz left on those authors and reflects Kerouac's influence on musicians of the relevance of Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Patti Smith, Van Morrison, David Bowie and the Grateful Dead, among others.

In the book, several articles also explore the writer's work from different angles with a high emotional and poetic charge. Miguel López is the author of the lyrics and Jorge Flaco Barral is the musical engine that drives the sound project.
