Taxi drivers, members of the Peñas and City Hall propose the use of public transport during the Festivities
The posters of 'Don't go for it!' will be distributed in taxi stands, 'peñas' and establishments in the city
The Local Radiotaxi Association, in collaboration with the departments of Fiestas and Mobility, and the Association of Peñas have launched a campaign to promote the use of public transport in Benidorm on the occasion of Major Patron Festrivities. The initiative will be publicized with the motto 'Do not go for it it!' And proposes to use the taxi instead of the private vehicle and avoiding the possibility of driving under the influence of alcohol in those days. For that reason, the City Council has published some posters that will be visible at the taxi stands and will be distributed among all the peñas and establishments of the city. The councillor of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles and the president of the Association of Penyes 'Verge del Sofratge' Mariló Cebreros was very satisfied with this proposal that seeks, as the councilor emphasized, "that the fiestas develop in the best way possible". Radiotaxi Benidorm has a fleet of 350 vehicles distributed throughout the city. Its telephone remains operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, under the numbers: 965 862 626, 965 861 818 and 966 810 010.
