The Summer Youth Camp travels this year to La Vecilla (León) from July 16 to 30

The Youth Council organizes one more year the Summer Camp, which in this edition takes place in the upper valley of Curueño in the Leon town of La Vecilla in León from July 16 to 30. The departure will take place on July 16 at 08:30 hours from Foietes Park. The Councilor for Youth, Ana Pellicer has indicated that this activity is aimed at children from 8 to 16 years old - both ages included.

Pellicer has detailed that, "two cultural outings will be developed in coach and emotional intelligence workshops will be held, sports, games, monographic days, hiking, soirees, theater, songs, environmental activities and many more." Part of the programmed activities "will be done in English, and the participants will also practice formulas of greeting, gratitude and basic language" in "French, German, Chinese or Russian, etc., as well as knowledge of customs and behaviors in different cultures" .

The price of the camp is 350 euros, and includes accommodation with full board, activities, cultural outings by coach with visits and qualified animation team. Professionals with university qualifications such as psychologists, teachers, philologists, education and social work, official training in free time, first aid, use of defibrillators, food handlers and many other fields will also be attended.

To complete the registration, the application form must be completed with personal and health information, a photocopy of the child's health card and a passport-size photograph. Interested persons can already request information and register at the Youth Information Center.

One week before the departure, specifically on July 9, there will be a meeting with the parents in the auditorium of Casal Fester (3, la Biga street) at 8.30 pm to inform them of the daily planning of the activities.
