The students from Alicante Professional Conservatory of Music star in the next event of Benidorm International Organ Festival
The XII Benidorm International Organ Festival returns tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1, with a new event in the Church of San Jaime and Santa Ana, in this case by the students of the organ of the Professional Conservatory of Music. The guitarist José Tomás' from Alicante will begin at 8 p.m.
The program will be very varied and include the following pieces: 'Praeludium in C' by Johann Speth, performed by Jorge Abad. It will be followed by 'Prelude, Fugue and Variation' by César Franck, with Isabel Seva on the organ. Attendees will then listen to the work of Johann Sebastian Bach 'Toccata and Fugue in E' by Manuel Torno and immediately afterwards the Choral Prelude 'Cristo el entregado para nosostros' with Cristina Cámara on the organ.
The next piece will be 'Lohengrin WWV 75' by Richard Wagner, performed by Benantzi Bilbao. Another work by Bach will be performed again, in this case, the 'Prelude and Fugue in G' by Manuel García. The concert will end with the performance of Theodore Dubois 'Toccata in G major' performed by Juan Carlos Soler.
The 'Guitarrista José Tomás' from the Professional Conservatory of Music has become an important institution in the Alicante cultural panorama and has a staff of more than 70 teachers for the more than 600 enrolled students.
