The streets of Benidorm will host the 15th edition of the popular San Silvestre race on December 21st
The streets of Benidorm will once again host the traditional San Silvestre race this Christmas. This year, the race will take place on Sunday, December 21st at 10:00 AM, marking its fifteenth edition in the city, as Councillor for Sports Javier Jordá reminded everyone. He invited running enthusiasts of all levels to “participate in one of the most fun and colourful races of the year.”
The six-kilometre course will run along the Levante beach promenade, starting and finishing on Avenida de Europa. Participants can choose from four different options: running, Nordic walking, walking, and children's races. Registration fees range from €12 for adults to €4 for children up to 15 years old.
The race will start at 10:00 AM, with bib numbers available for collection from 8:30 AM on the 21st until 30 minutes before the start.
Fifteen minutes before the start, the costume contest will be held for both individuals and groups, in both children's and adult categories, while the children's races will begin at 11:00 AM. The awards ceremony and prize draws for the runners will take place around 11:30 AM.
The Councillor for Sports has announced that early registration is now open on the website https://grupobrotons.com/event/xv-san-silvestre-popular-benidorm-2025/#…, where all event information can also be found.
