Sports schedules the reopening of the Palau indoor pool for the week of September 9
The Department of Sports of Benidorm City Council has scheduled the reopening of the indoor swimming pool of the Palau d’Esports L’Illa de Benidorm at its usual time for the week of September 9, with the start of the new season and coinciding with the beginning of the school year.
This has been conveyed by the councillor for the area, Javier Jordá, who has recalled that this facility has been closed since August 20 to carry out various maintenance tasks.
Jordá has stressed that, as in previous years, these are “actions that were essential for the pool to resume activity with all the guarantees of quality of service” and has recalled that, as usual, the City Council “has reused every last drop” of the two pools, which add up to about 400,000 litres of water, for street cleaning.
The City Council also reiterates its call to owners associations who intend to empty their swimming pools at the end of summer for reasons of repairs, leaks, etc., so that, instead of pouring it directly into the sewer, they inform the Street Cleaning Department or FCC so that it can be collected and reused.
