Social Welfare, Sports and Aspanion call on Sunday the III Trophy for a smile
There will be a triangular match between veterans of Benidorm, Alicante and Hércules and a match between politicians and football clubs
The third edition of the 'Trophy for a Smile' has been presented this morning jointly by the ediles of Social Welfare, Angela Llorca; Sports, Ana Pellicer; and the head of the Association of Parents with children with cancer (Aspanion) of Benidorm, Fran Morcuende. The event will be held, from 9.00 hours on February 19 in the Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor.
Angela Llorca highlighted the coincidence of the trophy with the recent celebration "on the 15th day of the International Day of children with cancer" and showed her support for the "fight" that many families keep against the disease. For her part, Ana Pellicer underlined and thanked "the great function" of all members of Aspanion and invited the entire citizenship "to share" this solidarity party "whose goal is the fight against cancer."
Fran Morcuende announced that "admission is free for everyone" and that throughout the morning there will be workshops, games and inflatables for children, although the highlight of the day will be the triangular football that will be played by veterans of Benidorm, Alicante and Hércules and the match, which is only 15 minutes long, will face a selection of local politicians and politicians against a combination of Atletico Madrid and Betis' clubs in the city.
Previously, there will be a football tournament of the youngest categories among local schools, a workshop of Latin dances and the parade of Star Wars characters with whom, who wishes, can later be photographed in the photocall that will be installed by the organization. Attendees will also be able to enjoy a giant paella of solidarity with whose collection Aspanion will continue to help families with children suffering from the disease.
