SkyFest expands its summer program with the comedy monologue series ‘Lo nunca visto’
This summer, the SkyFest venue will feature a new comedy offering in addition to its already established musical and cultural programs. The stand-up comedy series, "The Unseen," was presented this morning and will bring eight of the country's best comedians to the city. According to the Councillor for Events, Jesús Carrobles, this is "a stand-up comedy entertainment program accompanied by live music and an open-air food area during July and August." He continued, "This will allow the SkyFest venue to host not only music festivals, but also culture, comedy, gastronomy, and more."
The performances will take place every Thursday starting July 9th. The series will begin that day with Miguel Lago and continue with Grison (July 16th), David Cepo (July 23rd), Alex Clavero (July 30th), Luis Piedrahita (August 6th), David Puerto (August 13th), Isabel Rey (August 20th), and Miguel Miguel (August 27th).
The promoter of the "Lo nunca visto" series, José Sánchez, stated that it is "a project born to allow our region to laugh with the best comedians on the national scene, as well as acting as a new cultural tourism driver, complementing the current offerings."
Alex Fratini, head of SkyFest, highlighted the venue's commitment "to all kinds of events" and placed the stand-up comedy series "at the top nationally," which will ensure that "Benidorm's name is included on the comedians' tours." The venue will open at 8:00 p.m to promote the food stalls inside, where there will also be terraces and panoramic views of Benidorm, with an expected attendance of around 8,000 people."
Tickets are now on sale at www.lonuncavisto.es and www.benidormskyfest.com. Season passes for attending multiple performances within the stand-up comedy series will also be announced in a few days.
