Sant Antoni Commission celebrates its traditional meeting 'Els Menjars de la Terra' this Saturday

Sant Antoni 2026 Festival Committee is holding a new edition of 'Menjars de la Terra' this Saturday, September 27th. This gastronomic event will feature a variety of traditional Benidorm dishes, offering a day of celebration and fellowship. The Councillor for Festivals, Mariló Cebreros, explained that the event will start at 12:30 p.m. and will take place at the Ermita de Sanç. Afterwards, she wished the mayors of this committee, chaired by Irene Maris, "much success."
Cebreros emphasised that 'Menjars de la Terra' is "like every year, a unique opportunity to enjoy Benidorm's most traditional dishes, while collaborating with one of our municipality's most deeply rooted festivals." Not surprisingly, the event's proceeds will go toward organising the festivities in honour of Sant Antoni del Porquet, which take place at the Hermitage in January.
To participate, the Sant Antoni mayorals have put 10-euro tickets on sale, allowing the public to sample three tapas prepared by residents of the Huerta, members of the Commission, or collaborating companies, accompanied by two drinks. Tickets can be purchased in advance from any member of this commission or on the day of the event.
Finally, the Councillor for Fiestas thanked "the efforts of the entire Sant Antoni Commission, which has been involved from the beginning in all the events to make next January's festivals unforgettable."
