Sant Antoni commission brings to Benidorm the Nit de Sant Joan in the Hermitage of Sanz
The Comissió de Festes de Sant Antoni recovers the traditional Nit de Sant Joan two years after its last edition, in the Hermitage of Sanz. It will be Saturday, June 22. This has been announced by the acting councilman of Fiestas Jesús Carrobles, along with the president and the secretary of the festive entity, Cristobal Ronda and Aida García.
"This year we are in luck," said Carrobles, "because we had not had a commission for two years" and it was the Council that had to organize the festivities of Sant Antoni. "Finally has set-he has specified-a large and important commission, and eager to work as they have been demonstrating throughout the year."
The councilor recalled that Sant Antoni have already launched "the truc and parchís tournament" in the Hermitage and "the first important act" they will face will be the Nit de Sant Joan which has augured " a great success "for" the commitment "that all the mayorales of the commission have put in it.
Cristobal Ronda has announced the opening of doors around 8.30pm, although dinner will be served from 9.30pm. The agape will be set by a 'bandeta' and "at the end there will be raffles and raffles for all attendees," he said.
For its part, Aida Garcia recalled that dinner is a "tradition more" of Benidorm. "Before it was organized by the Comissió - it has been qualified - the people of the orchard were already gathered in the Hermitage to celebrate Sant Joan".
