Reinforcement of the bus service during the Reggaeton Beach Festival, which will also have a taxi rank next to the venue
On the occasion of the celebration of the Reggaeton Beach Festival, the Benidorm city bus concession company, Avanza, is going to reinforce several lines that link to the venue and will establish shuttles coinciding with the end time of the event. Likewise, a taxi rank will also be located on Liberty Avenue.
According to the data transferred from the Mobility area, both on Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th, starting at 4:00 p.m. the service of line 1 of the urban bus from Levante to Colonia Madrid will be increased at stops such as Hotel Meliá, Edificio Albatros, Carmen Church and Europa Avenue. Until midnight, users of this line will get off at the TRAM station, located near the Ciudad Deportiva 'Guillermo Amor'.
For attendees who want to arrive from Poniente at 4:00 p.m., lines 2 and 3 are reinforced on both days from the Cala de Finestrat and Hotel Bali stops. The closest stop to the festival is the one located on Panama Avenue.
Once the activity at the venue ends, starting at 00:00 there will be shuttles for lines 1 and 2 on Foietes Avenue with frequencies of 20 minutes, depending on the influx of users.
In addition, also coinciding with the closing of the event doors, around midnight on Saturday and Sunday, vehicle access to Colonia Madrid will be restricted from Estación, Capitán Cortés and Alcalá streets; restrictions that could be specific during door opening hours, around 4:00 p.m. While these restrictions operate, vehicles that want to access the neighbourhood must do so through Foietes Avenue.
Finally, Mobility has reported that in addition to the park-and-ride parking next to the TRAM station, the industrial park will also be available on Saturday and Sunday.
