Police presence with more than 200 officers and health care for Reggaeton Beach Festival this weekend
Around 200 people will make up the daily health and safety device of the Reggaeton Beach Festival that is being held this weekend at the Guillermo Amor Sports City. To close the coordination of this device, a meeting was held this morning headed by the councillor of Public Service and Events, Jesús Carrobles, in which officials from the Local Police, the National Police Corps, Civil Protection, as well as municipal technicians and the company organizing the event, have participated.
The forecast is that the festival will attract 25,000 attendees during the 2 days.
The councillor of Public Service and Events explained that the festival “is perfectly organized and equipped.” Specifically, there will be a private security team made up of more than 130 people, including security guards, access controllers and assistants who will be in charge of security inside the facility. To these are added members of the Local Police - with drone flights included - and the National Police Corps, who will be present at the entrances to the venue and surroundings of Guillermo Amor Sports City. This device is completed with members of Civil Protection in two turns.
About healthcare facilities, the facility will have two Advanced Life Support units, both with a doctor, nurse and technician, as well as a Basic Life Support ambulance equipped with a nurse and technician and another with a driver. There will also be a field hospital, an advanced medical post and four lifeguards.
Within the enclosure, there are 14 evacuation and emergency exits, to which are added the two located in the VIP area.
The doors will open at 4:00 p.m., both on Saturday, July 6 and on the 7th, with the musical activity ending around midnight.
