Pixies, first headliner of the Low Festival 2017
It will be the only concert of the band in Spain
The Low Festival has announced its first name for the 2017 edition: Pixies. The independent US rock band will be one of the festival's headliners to be held from 28 to 30 July in the sports city of Guillermo Amor in Benidorm. It will be the only concert that the group led by Black Francis will perform next year in Spain, who will also present at the festival the new work, 'Head Carrier' published at the end of last September. The mayor, Toni Pérez, stated that with this announcement "the Low Festival poster begins to take shape, which will surely surprise and place Benidorm in the front row of the musical offer of our country." Pérez indicated that "there is no better way to start this new edition than with a group that has been headlining at festivals as powerful as Glastonbury or Coachella," and is convinced that the musical event will again beat records of attendance next summer and with more than 75,000 people in the city. Passes for the three days of the festival are on sale at a price of 48 euros, while VIP tickets can be purchased at 90 euros and VIP POOL at 140.
