Penya Ganduls recovers this Saturday 'Els menjars de la terra' at Ermita de Sanç
Penya Ganduls recovers this Saturday, September 22, 'Els Menjars de la Terra', a gastronomic sample linked to the Huerta, which celebrates 17 editions and had not been held for two years. The councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, and the members of the club Francisco Berenguer and Vicent Buigues have informed that the exhibition will take place in the Hermitage of Sanç from 13.30 and that it will also serve to raise funds for Festa de Sant Antoni.
Carrobles has applauded the initiative of Ganduls to recover this show "with which this club has a special connection" since it began to be held in 2001 when "many members of the club were Sant Antoni members of the local festivities". The councilman of Fiestas has invited all citizens to participate in 'Els Menjars de la Terra' and "enjoy the magnificent delicacies" typical of the local cuisine.
Thus, and as detailed by Francisco Berenguer, you will be able to taste "dishes that can not normally be found in restaurants" and that are traditional of the Benidormese cuisine and of the area as' arrós en fessols i naps', 'arrós en aladroc i spinacs ',' olleta alicantina ',' pebrera tallaeta ',' fritanga ',' bollos a la paleta 'or' sang amb ceba '.
Some of these dishes, such as 'l'arròs amb fessols i naps' and 'aladroc i spinacs' will be cooked 'in situ'; while others will be elaborated by Benidorm establishments to which the peña has thanked "their support". A thankfulness that has been extended to the City Council, which will collaborate in the assembly of the infrastructure.
The price of the ticket is 10 euros and includes five tastings of food and there will be drinks at popular prices.
