'Actívate para el empleo', a new training activity for people over 30
The Agency of Employment and Local Development of Benidorm City Hall has organized for the month of October some free workshops of labor orientation. These workshops are part of the "Actívate para el empleo" program, and will be taught by Vigela Lloret, an economist and career counselor.
Maria Jesús Pinto, councilor of the area explained this morning that in March 2018 the first edition of this program was held, "with great acceptance by those unemployed in the locality who made it, who, at least in one 50%, achieved a labor insertion based on the knowledge and skills acquired ".
The Actívate para el empleo program is 100% funded by Obra Social la Caixa, an entity that collaborates with Benidorm City Council in the financing of different employment, training and entrepreneurship programs.
The work orientation workshops are aimed at people over 30 years of age in the municipality of Benidorm. The ultimate goal is for the people participating in the program to develop their own job search strategy, taking into account the importance of continuous work in the job search process.
To participate in this program interested and interested must be unemployed and enroll in the Agency for Employment and Local Development of Benidorm.
The workshops will be held at Jelena Social Center on October 16, 18 and 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and both group workshops and individual tutorials will be held.
