Nine clubs have participated in the tour with varied themes about the works, the BenidormFest, the cleaning, the IMSERSO and the parodies about local politicians
The parade of humor of the clubs stars on Tuesday afternoon in Benidorm
The clubs have taken center stage on Tuesday evening in Benidorm with the celebration of a colorful Parade of Humor that has reviewed, as every year in the key of comic criticism, the current affairs of the city.
A total of nine supporters' clubs participated this afternoon in the traditional Parade of Humor organized by the Associació de Penyes with the sponsorship of the Comissió. As usual, the participating clubs started from Venus Street and passed through Ruzafa to end their show in Martínez Alejos, where the authorities' tribune was located.
A tribune where the mayor, the councilor for Fiestas, the queens and their court of honor, the presidents of the clubs and the members of the commission, as well as the majority of the local corporation, have been watching the parade.
The parade was accompanied by several thousand neighbors and visitors who did not want to miss the sarcasm and good humor that the participating supporters of supporters clubs display each year and their criticism of current affairs.
The nine participating peñas have been Sembrant Festa, Ni pa tú ni pa mi, Bavallons, El Teuladí, El Cranc, Ché qué fort, El Melic, Paparinell and La Granota. Most of the clubs have addressed issues such as the works in Benidorm, the most recurring issue, but also others such as street cleaning, the Mediterranean avenue techno-milestone, Benidormfest, Imserso, the future of the city, and political changes in some municipal groups. All this, as always, in a humorous tone.
The first prize of the parade, the Special Prize 'José Manuel Galiana' is endowed with 1,200 euros and is sponsored by the Associació de Penyes. The second, sponsored by the Comissió, is endowed with 1,000 euros. The third distributes 600 euros and the fourth prize 400 euros.
The winners of the awards will be announced during the performance of the Warriors Bears starting at 11:30 p.m. at Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España.
