The new measures issued by the Ministry also allow the public to attend competitions, with the same limitation and as long as the safety distance is maintained.
Palau's swimming pool and gym increase its capacity to 50%
Pursuant to the Resolution of April 23 from Conselleria de Sanidad Universal y Salud Pública, the pool and gym at Palau d'Esports l’Illa have increased their capacity to 50% from today. To date, and attention to sanitary restrictions, both facilities were operational at a capacity of 30%. Also up to half of the capacity the allowed capacity in the changing rooms is increased.
In addition to expanding the capacity of the pool and gym, the latest Resolution opens the door to public attendance at sports facilities on the occasion of competitions. Specifically, in outdoor facilities there may be public up to 50% of the capacity and with a maximum of 1,000 people, as long as the safety distance is guaranteed. With regard to indoor facilities, the capacity will also be 50%, but in this case with a maximum limit of 500 spectators. In these facilities it will also be mandatory to comply with the safety distance.
The new regulation also introduces variations in the competitions and training of the clubs, which they will apply and communicate to their athletes.
The rest of the restrictions remain as before.
Initially, these new measures are in force until May 9.
