The Julio Iglesias Auditorium will host Antoñito Molina's concert tonight and on August 16, American Eart, Wine and Fire
Pablo López brings together more than 3,000 people to sing his greatest hits in l'Aigüera
The singer and composer from Malaga, Pablo López, last night brought together more than 3,000 people in the Julio Iglesias Auditorium in the Parque de l’Aigüera in one of the concerts of the tour that is taking him to different venues throughout the country to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his career. The artist, who rose to fame in the music world after his participation as a contestant in Operación Triunfo and who has also been a ‘coach’ in La Voz TV program, reviewed in his performance in Benidorm all the greatest hits of his discography, among which were ‘Tu enemigos’, ‘El mundo’, ‘La niña de la linterna’, before a very devoted audience that sang along to each song one by one.
With his inseparable piano or guitar, and in the company of his band, Pablo López shared anecdotes and memories lived in Benidorm. And he also made numerous gestures of complicity with the public, both those in the auditorium and the neighbours of buildings who also wanted to enjoy the recital from their balconies, which ended about two hours later with the popular ‘Mira cómo bailan’.
The Councillor for Events of Benidorm Town Hall, Jesús Carrobles, has highlighted “the quality of the concert that, once again, Pablo López offered us, with which we practically reached the halfway point of the musical programme for this summer”.
The councillor has recalled that tonight, at 10.30 pm, Julio Iglesias will host the performance of the young singer-songwriter from Cadiz Antoñito Molina, with his tour ‘La Aventura’, while on 16 August it will be the turn of the American band Earth, Wine and Fire. As for major music festivals, Carrobles also recalled that “after the RBF and the Low Festival, we still have one last event pending: the Iberia Festival, which will also be held at the Julio Iglesias, on October 11 and 12.”
