In operation a new biosaludable leisure space on Avenida Beniardà

Benidorm City Council, through the Department of Urban Scene, has installed a new area of ​​leisure biosaludable in the extension of  Avenida de Beniardà, above the train tracks, in front of the parking of the TRAM station that gives service to Colonia Madrid.

The councilor responsible for the area, José Ramón González de Zárate, recalled the commitment of the City Council "not only in making swings accessible to children" but also "with the elderly" so they can enjoy the public way and, in this case , "Doing sports" in front of "a wonderful viewpoint to l' Aigüera ravine and to the whole green belt of the city of Benidorm".

González de Zárate specified that the acquisition and installation of the equipment, as well as the previous civil work of the foundations and the perimeter fencing of the area have meant an investment of 16,315.51 euros that "will not come from the pockets of the taxpayers", but of the canon of the municipal concessionaire of urban furniture, Impursa.

The residents of the upper part of Beniardà Avenue and all those who use the layout parallel to the CV-70 adapted for the exclusive use of cyclists and pedestrians, can already enjoy the new combined exercise machines, waist, legs, of twist arms or bicycle, which will soon add picnic tables that will complete this space for leisure and recreation.
