Next, there have been two presentations focused on two of the fronts of interest for the Local Police commanders: 'The reclassification of officers to the Executive Scale', by Francisco Pablo Soriano; and 'Emotional intelligence applied to the exercise of middle management, led by Pascual Benet.

The provincial deputy for Architecture and councillor in Benidorm City Council, José Ramón González de Zárate, has been in charge of closing the act with a speech in which he has claimed the role of the Local Police in the municipalities.

González de Zárate recalled his time at the Department of Public Security in previous legislatures in Benidorm and valued the time he spent accompanying the local police officers in the development of their mission. "Agents -he stressed- that today you are officers and with whom I learned that without majors there are no teams".

Benidorm councillor has valued the work carried out by Benidorm City Council in the drafting of its Job Assessment (VPT), "in which your body has been taken into account" and has also positioned in favour of that, at present, the quality of police officers does not depend on a university degree "because a police officer who has not completed a degree can be a good officer".

Finally, the provincial deputy and councillor thanked the organization for choosing Benidorm to hold this meeting and encouraged them to continue working to "achieve the objectives that you have set for yourselves." González de Zárate has not missed the opportunity to claim the social role of the Local Police in the municipalities. "You are the ones who are next to people", he has finished.
