The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has met this morning the Norwegian ambassador in Spain, Helge Skaara. An encounter that has taken place in the mayor's office and in which the Norwegian consul in Benidorm, Jan Arild Nilsen, and the first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer, also participated.
During the meeting, the ambassador has transferred that for the Norwegians Benidorm and the region are a privileged place to spend their vacations and also for long seasons.
Norway's tourism potential has in recent years led Fundación Visit Benidorm to develop actions in the country and throughout the region of Scandinavia, with the aim of publicizing and transferring health services and the complementary offer, especially sports of the city to tourists of this nationality located in Benidorm or in another locality of the region. In this regard, the ambassador has praised the sanitary offer of the city and the Marina Baixa.
At the end of the meeting, Helge Skaara has signed in the City's Honor Book.
