New updated edition of Benidorm Employment and Training Resources Guide
The Department of Employment, through its Agency for Employment and Local Development (AEDL), has presented a new edition, the thirteenth, of its 'Guide to resources for employment and training'. A practical summary of help that advises in a "concise and agile" way to people who wish to improve their work situation. This has been announced today by the Councilor for Employment, Mª Jesús Pinto, at a press conference, which she attended together with the sociologist and director of the AEDL, José Antonio Núñez de Cela.
The guide, which has been prepared in "close collaboration" with the Department of Education has been subsidized by 50% by the Diputación de Alicante. "It is - said Pinto - an essential resource and a complement for the tasks carried out in the AEDL and meets one of its main objectives: to contribute to increase the information and advice for employment, to support the creation of companies and support entrepreneurs. "
Mª Jesús Pinto highlighted, among the contents of this guide, "the educational offer of Benidorm, its geographical environment". In addition, "contains specific information" for the search of employment, creation of companies and contents oriented to specific groups "as people with functional diversity".
The guide has involved an investment of 4,466.26 euros, 50% of the total has been subsidized by the Provincial Council of Alicante. In this updated edition have been printed 800 copies that will be distributed to entities such as Secondary schools, business associations, industry, public institutions, councils and municipal services (Youth and Education) and "of course to those entities or agencies that request them to the Employment agency".
Focused on self-employment
For his part, José Antonio Núñez de Cela, said about this guide that throughout these thirteen years "has known how to evolve and has adapted to the current time." It is a document that "is very well received" by the people who participate in the courses organized by the Department because "it gathers the most important, essential and necessary training and access to the world of work." Núñez de Cela pointed out that this is "a very good tool for entrepreneurs, for all those people who want to have their own business or develop self-employment".
