Nearly 200 housewives from across the Valencian Community celebrate their annual meeting in Benidorm
Nearly 200 women have arrived in Benidorm from different towns of the Region, belonging to the Association of Housewives and Consumers Tyrius and to celebrate their annual meeting these days, with a complete program of activities that started on Tuesday and will continue until tomorrow, Thursday.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, welcomed all the participants at a reception held yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, at the Town Hall, in which the Councilor for Equality, Ángela Zaragozí, also participated. They both thanked Tyrius for choosing our location to hold this annual meeting again and wished all the participants a happy stay.
The president of this association, María Eugenia Garrigues, explained that during these days workshops, presentations, cultural visits and other activities will be held, which will allow coexistence among women from the different towns and sharing concerns between the local boards of directors.
