Musical Festival in favor of Cáritas Benidorm

03 May 2017
Festival Musical a favor de Cáritas Benidorm

'Ama2 hasta el eternidad' is a musical organized by the Diocese of Orihuela-Alicante to be performed Julio Iglesias auditorium on 13 May

Julio Iglesias auditorium in l'Aiguera Park will be the stage where next May 13 the musical 'Ama2 hasta la eternidad' will be celebrated for the benefit of Caritas Benidorm. The musical is organized by the Diocese of Orihuela-Alicante and comes to our city with the collaboration of the Department of Social Welfare.

The councilwoman of Social Welfare, Angela Llorca, the priest Jesús Rosillo Peñalver, as well as Sola and Elvira in representation of Caritas have presented this morning this musical, which tells the love story of a boy and a girl, whose message is not to lose hope in the face of adversity. The distribution is made up of about 60 young people from different parishes, communities and movements of the Diocese of Orihuela-Alicante.

Ángela Llorca has encouraged the citizens of Benidorm to "enjoy this magnificent spectacle and fill the auditorium to collaborate with the important work that Caritas develops in our city." The tickets, for sale at a price of 10 euros, can be purchased in all the parishes of Benidorm, in the kiosk of the Triangular Square and the same day of the musical in the lockers of the park.

The priest Jesús Rosillo thanked "the support of all to bring this work to Benidorm" and explained that the musical "intends to announce with a young message the message of Jesus Christ, the proclamation of the Gospel." He also stressed the "social work" that is intended to be achieved thanks to the revenue from the sale of tickets.

The representatives of Caritas have made a call "so that all people can help us and sell all the tickets", while they have thanked "the support of the City Council, the volunteers and all the entities that collaborate with us throughout year". They have also announced that the event will draw a painting by the local painter José Albero.
