This measure, operative since Wednesday, is linked to the next changes of circulation in Maravall after making Tomás Ortuño street pedestrian
Movilidad reverses the direction of Mercurio Street to improve its connection with Jaime I
The Department of Mobility is going to rever from this Wednesday, December 20, the direction of the circulation of Mercurio Street to improve its connection with Jaime I. In this way, from that day Plutón street will become via of entry from Jaime I to Mercurio. Once in Mercurio, the vehicles can go down to Limones street where they will connect with Maravall, which will also change its direction of circulation, becoming a way of ascent and exit to Tomás Ortuño.
All these measures are directly linked to the reordering of the traffic that is being carried out in the center as a result of the works to make a new section of Tomás Ortuño street, and will be incorporated little by little. Thus, the change of Maravall will be operational from the middle of next week, as it is conditioned to the installation of a traffic light at Tomás Ortuño junction with Urano.
