Finca Les Palmeres hosted tonight the traditional summer solidarity dinner organized by Anémona (Self-Help Group of Women with Breast and Gynecological Cancer of Benidorm and the Region) to raise funds to finance activities and therapies aimed at the group and, in this way, alleviate and minimize the effects of the disease

Shortly before 9:00 p.m., the diners began to arrive and were welcomed by the Anémona activists wearing the new 2024 solidarity t-shirt that the thousands of participants will wear in the traditional march scheduled for next October.

The president of Anémona, María Botella, addressed the attendees before the start of the agape to thank her for their attendance and collaboration, which allow the women of the association to continue with their social action.

More than 500 people, to which we should add the non-attendees, collaborators through the 'zero line', have accompanied Anémona at a dinner in which dozens of gifts selflessly contributed by local companies have been raffled off. Among the attendees, the mayor, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Equality, Ángela Zaragozí, along with other members of the corporation who were joined by the senator, Agustín Almodóbar, and the regional deputy, José Ramón González de Zárate.

After dinner, Toni Pérez thanked Anémona for "sharing solidarity" by organizing events such as their annual dinner. He reminded the members of the group that they are "very intense", given the large number of activities they carry out throughout the year and he clarified that he and the people of Benidorm want them to "continue being intense" because that is the way to deal with the disease.

Next, the end of the party began, enlivened by the orchestra 'La gran Babilón', which lasted until early morning.
