Hidraqua executes with investment funds and contemplates a comprehensive action in subsoil and sidewalks
On Monday work begins on Atocha street collector
On Monday, February 1, work begins on the adaptation and improvement of Atocha street collector, budgeted at 200,000 euros and approved on December 14 at the Governing Board.
The execution of the action corresponds to Hidraqua, which undertakes it under the agreement of investment funds committed to this concessionaire of the Municipal Service of Potable Water and Sewerage, signed in May 2016 and in force.
For the councilor for the Water Cycle, José Ramón González de Zárate, it is "a very important work" because it "changes the waste collector" in the whole of Atocha street "between Plaza Castellana and Ricardo Bayona, and their intersections". attending to a comprehensive action that "meets the needs of the subsoil, sidewalks and accessibility."
In this regard, González de Zárate highlighted "the difficulties in terms of the unevenness and width of the sidewalks of the street", seeking with this action "to solve the step" to "improve the accessibility of the whole".
In the first week of action, which begins on Monday, the works of Paseo Castellana will be carried out, to focus the bulk of the intervention, on Atocha street "by sectors", highlighted the councilor, with successive actions in the Atocha sections -Ricardo Bayona, Ricardo Bayona-Arnedo and Arnedo-Florida.
De Zárate stressed that in the whole of Atocha street "an action is undertaken in a comprehensive manner, taking into account the provision of all services in the subsoil and the adaptation of the surface of the sidewalks, adapting them to the general accessibility model of the city.
