Minute of silence in Benidorm to condemn a new case of male violence in Malaga
Benidorm has once again observed a minute of silence at the gates of the City Council to condemn gender violence, in this case after it was confirmed as a case of the murder of a woman in Malaga on September 27, which it leaves also orphaned two minors.
Along with the acting mayor, Ana Pellicer, and the mayor of Equality, Paquita Ripoll, have joined the act to condemn gender violence several councilors of different groups of the corporation, residents and municipal workers.
In the current year 2018 there are already 38 women victims of gender violence who have died in our country, and 27 children who have been orphaned. The Department of Equality reminds citizens that, before any suspicion of sexist violence, you can go to the toll-free telephone number 016, a number that is not reflected in the telephone bill but it should be deleted later from the call register of the mobile phone.
