Members of the corporation and the members of the entity encourage him in the first pedals of this altruistic initiative
Miguel Íñiguez from Benidorm begins his solidarity road to Santiago by bicycle to make visible the work of Anémona
Miguel Íñiguez from Benidorm has started today his particular path to Santiago de Compostela to give visibility to the work carried out by Anémona, the Group for women with breast cancer. A solidarity road of more than 1,000 kilometers that will cover by bicycle and with which you expect, stage by stage, to raise funds for this entity. Encourage by his family; and by the mayor, Toni Pérez; the Councilor for Equality, Ángela Zaragozí; members of the municipal corporation; and a large representation of members of Anémona, Íñiguez has departed at 11.00 from the SSMM Reyes de España Square to Novelda, the first stop on its way to the city of Apostle Santiago.
The first part of this solidarity action will lead Íñiguez to cycle along the so-called ‘Wool Route’, which at the height of Burgos connects with the ‘French Way’. As explained days ago, the Benidormense has opted for this route because "despite being longer than the 'Southwest Road', in its last 500 kilometers to Santiago this route brings together more people" and consequently "it can be achieved more diffusion ”for the initiative.
Íñiguez's progress on his bicycle can be followed through the Anémona Facebook, where the cyclist will publish chronicles and photographs of each stage.
