The ‘Biontrend’ tool from the Hosbec employer association, winner in the ‘Governance’ category
The mayor presents the AMT Smart Destination Award for the best solution for ‘Interaction with tourists and citizens’
The mayor of Benidorm and president of the Alliance of Tourist Municipalities of Sun and Beach (AMT), Toni Pérez, has participated today in the delivery of the Smart Destination Awards, which bear the name of the entity and which are annually organized in collaboration with Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero (ITH). Specifically, and together with the Vice President of the Municipal Tourism Board of Salou, Héctor Maiquez, the mayor of Benidorm has presented the AMT Smart Destination Award for the best solution for ‘Interaction with tourists and citizens’. An award that has gone to CheckBarcelona.
This tool, launched by Turisme de Barcelona and Barcelona City Council, is an ‘app’ that offers real-time information on the influx of visitors in the different points of the Catalan capital, and allows making reservations and buying tickets.
In addition, in this edition of AMT Smart Destination Awards Benidorm has also been present with a technological solution: Hosbec's ‘Biontrend’, which has been the winner in the Governance category. The general secretary of the hotel management association of Benidorm and the Valencian Community, has collected the award given by the jury to this collaborative tool that the hotel management organization Hosbec has made available to its associates and that brings together the reservation data provided by businessmen , allowing to analyze the situation that the sector is going through in the past, present and future.
