The local government has made this proposal during a Meeting of Spokespersons convened today by the mayor, Toni Pérez.

Caselles has indicated that "in the same Board of Spokespersons and given the situation that the Spanish countryside is experiencing, from the PP government we have proposed to PSOE and Vox, a motion in which we support the primary sector, farmers and ranchers", to which PSOE and Vox have made contributions that will be studied.
The last of the topics on which consensus is sought is the commemoration of the centenary of the poet Vicent Andrés Estellés from Burjassot, winner of Benidorm Juegos Florales in 1944 and 1945. The local government has proposed that the motion include an agreement, to “commemorate the birth of the poet Vicent Andrés Estellés, organizing activities to spread his connection with Benidorm”; At the same time, the exposition of reasons initially proposed by the socialists has been complemented.
The local government spokesperson has stressed that “this government team is always open to dialogue and to adding the maximum possible support to all the initiatives that are voted on in the plenary session, regardless of which party they come from, whether they are promoted by the local government itself or raised by some of the opposition groups.” “This predisposition to agreement, dialogue and understanding has been a constant in the nearly nine years of Toni Pérez's government and will continue to be so,” she concluded.
