Lluís Soler presents his book ‘García, procurador de Thous a Sella’ in Benidorm

The Assembly Hall has been the setting where the book 'García, procurador de Thous a Sella', by Lluís Soler, was presented in an event that was attended by the Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez , different members of the municipal corporation and a reduced adudience, due to the reduction in capacity required by Covid-19.

Lluís Soler (Sella, 1953), has developed his entire professional career practicing teaching in schools in different locations in Alicante, which he has complemented with musical activities and writing. The result of this hobby and vocation are his six books, the last one presented last night in Benidorm.

‘García, procurator of Thous a Sella’, collects the fictionalized story of Josep García’s relationship with Juan Thous, a key figure in the Marina Baixa and Benidorm in the second half of the 19th century, of when he was an attorney. With the presentation of the book, the exhibition ‘Thous, personatge singula i benefactor de Benidorm i comarca.
