L'Hort de Colón hosts the exhibition 'Magical Hands'

L'Hort de Colón hosts from today and until Sunday April 14 included, the exhibition 'Magic Hands' organized by the bobbin lace makers association in collaboration with the Department of Historical Heritage of the City of Benidorm. A show that aims to spread the art of bobbin lace done by its members with great dedication.

The act has counted with the presence of the councilor of Historical Heritage, Ana Pellicer; the Councilor for Equality, Paquita Ripoll; accompanied by other members of the corporation, of the different municipal groups, and together with the president of the Association of Bobbbin lace, Cecilia Kruijk.

The Bobbin lace makers Association of Benidorm is a non-profit association, established in 1997. It is composed from its origin by women, but currently has a man among its members. The association responds to the needs and demands of women, actively encouraging their participation in all kinds of social, cultural, educational, leisure activities, etc., which take place in our municipality. The 'bobbin lace makers' belong to the Municipal Council of Women since its creation in 2013

The visiting hours of the exhibition are from Tuesday to Friday from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays in the morning. Today and next Tuesday at 5:00 p.m., if time permits, there will be a demonstration in the garden of how bobbles are made.
