This year, the celebrations will take to the streets on Saturday, February 21st. Councillor Mariló Cebreros announced that “this event is something Benidorm always wholeheartedly embraces, and the city showcases, year after year, the enormous creativity of our festival-goers, members, and residents, who bring out costumes of the highest calibre.”
Cebreros reminded everyone that registration for the children's and adult competitions “opened on January 31st and will close next Tuesday, February 17th” at 9:00 PM, so “we are in the final days for individuals, groups of friends, or festival clubs who wish to participate to register.” Registration can be completed by filling out the corresponding form at the Associació de Penyes office, located in the Casa del Fester ‘Diego Cano Enguera’, at 3 La Biga Street.
