La Falla Rincón de Loix presents its Falleras Mayores de 2023
50 days after the celebration of San José, the Benidorm fallero collective prepares for its festivities. Yesterday it was the Falla Rincón de Loix that celebrated the exaltation of its Falleras Mayores de 2023, the young Laura Gálvez and the girl Valentina Romero, in an act in which the mayor, Toni Pérez, was named honorary president of the entity.
The event was attended by, among others, the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; members of the municipal Corporation; the Major and Child Queens of the Festes Majors Patronals, Angélica Morenilla and Daniela Talavera, together with their courts of honor; the president of the Commission, Vicente Solaz; as well as the president of the Fallera Local Board, Ana Finez, and representatives of festive entities of the city.
Verónica Company, a doctor and professor at Miguel Hernández University and former member of the falla, was the maintainer of the exaltation, in which the first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer, was also named as 'Casalera' and Javier Bárcena as ' Cremador', and in which the falleros of honor of 2023 were also presented.
The Rincón de Loix Falla, chaired by Álvaro Romero, celebrates its 45th anniversary this year, an event that the mayor recalled, who pointed out that "in five weeks" the Josefina festivities "will flood the city with color and illusion." Likewise, he urged those present to "do everything in our power so that Benidorm once again lives some Fallas as this city deserves."
This Sunday, January 29, it is the Falla Benidorm Centro that presents its Falleras Mayores de 2023.
