Iberia Festival will be held in October and confirms the performance of "Tequila" and "Coque Malla"
"Tequila" and "Coque Malla", are the first two artists confirmed at Iberia Festival, which in the words of the mayor, Toni Pérez, "are a preview of a magnificent poster for this new edition of a festival that is already considered as the best national pop and rock contest and that this year, -he announced-, will come to deseasonalize the great musical events offered by Benidorm ".
This sixth edition returns to recover the two days of festival and moves its dates from the month of August to the beginning of autumn in Benidorm, on 12 and 13 October, coinciding with the Day of Hispanic Heritage, a holiday that is not casual It has been made to coincide with a national music festival to attract also the visitor who moves to Benidorm at that time.
The councillor presented the first details of this new musical appointment with the councilor of Great Events, José Ramón González de Zárate, and Javier Ferrándiz, promoter of Iberia Festival, who announced that tomorrow from 12 o'clock, they will go on sale the first 500 tickets on the website www.iberiafestival.com or its Facebook page, at a promotion price of 35 euros and a VIP subscription for two days of 80 euros, with a t-shirt in both cases.
The Festival hopes to complete a cast of 10 artists and the news will be made known through the page and the social networks of the contest. Ferrándiz also expressed the interest of opening the Festival to the participation of new bands from inside and outside our province that have not yet been consecrated in the Spanish music scene. The concerts will be held in the "Julio Iglesias" auditorium of the L'Aigüera Park and there will also be a morning session and an open-door schedule so that the event can be enjoyed by as many people as possible.
The promoter explained that "Tequila", the group that catapulted itself to fame with hits like "Salta" or "Rock and Roll en la plaza del pueblo", has included Benidorm in the tour in which they most likely do his farewell as a group, before his members separately start new musical careers. Coque Malla, for his part, former leader of a legendary rock group such as "Los Ronaldos" and with hits such as "Adiós papá" or "Quiero más", is the other great bet that has already confirmed its presence in Benidorm.
