Iberia Festival says goodbye to Benidorm until next year

13 October 2019
El Iberia Festival se despide a lo grande de Benidorm hasta el año que viene

The seventh edition of the Iberia Festival is already history. A great night for national pop rock, those of before and those of now, which has managed to gather, in the Julio Iglesias auditorium of the Parque de l’Aigüera, thousands of unconditional. Thing that has also been possible thanks to the good temperature that Benidorm has had during the weekend.

The powerful direct of the Sevillians of La Dstyleria opened the stage, still with the sunlight on the horizon. Behind them, Rubén Pozo & Lichis, the ‘ex’ of Pereza and La Cabra Mecánica; and then Tarque, vocalist of M Clan, on his first solo tour, temporarily separated from the mythical Murcian group.

At 10 pm, a content silence, followed by the unanimous clamor of those present, announced Rozalén's performance. The last stage in Spain of his tour ‘When the river sounds’. La Manchega, as usual, shared the stage with the sign language interpreter, Beatriz Romero.

After midnight, the Celts Short stood up the respectable with a compilation of his most remembered subjects. No one like Jesús Cifuentes knows how to mix folk, metal and ska better. At 2.00 in the morning, the drums and sound mixes of Serial Killer planted the icing on what has been the last performance of the Iberia Festival 2019, Benidorm already thinks its edition ‘twenty twenty’.
