'Guillermo Playa' Football Tournament returns and opens its registration to women's teams

Today the XIII Beach Football Tournament Guillermo Amor has been presented, a championship that returns after two years under the organization of Racha Group and Pub Ovahe, that will be disputed the 16 and 17 of September on Levante beach, and that this edition presents as a main novelty the possibility of participation of female teams.

The councilor of Sports in Benidorm, Arturo Cabrillo; the organizers of the tournament, Miguel Ángel Sánchez and Hugo Fuster; the coordinator of the tournament, Jorge García; and Guillermo Amor's father, Luis Amor; have attended the press conference to announce the return of this tournament, which for years was a benchmark of beach soccer nationwide.

Cabrillo has begun his intervention expressing his "deep dismay at the attacks suffered in the cities of Barcelona and Cambrils" and has sent a message of "solidarity with the victims and their relatives and friends", a message to which Luís Amor has added, stating that "today we are all supporting Barcelona".

Both Luis Amor and Miguel Ángel Sánchez have stressed the importance of "getting this tournament to recover the boom that had and return to be a benchmark at the national level," especially at a time when this sport is increasingly successful in Spain and around the world.

In this edition the limit of participating teams will be 24 and there will be a minimum of 18. The registrations can be made by calling the numbers 603.756.758 and 608.146.673, or through facebook. In addition to trophies there will be prizes of € 300, € 200 and € 150 for the top three finishers.
