Young people will make guided visits to Boca del Calvari and Tossal de La Cala
The fourth fortnight ‘Summer 2020’ is underway
With a trip to Guadalest last Friday, the activities of the third fortnight of children's and youth activities of the ‘Summer 2020’ program, organized by the Youth Council directed by Jaime Jesús Pérez, ended. An initiative that proposes carrying out daily activities during the week between 9 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.
The 30 members of the group, accompanied by their monitors (one for every ten young people) and the municipal youth technicians, participated in an excursion to Guadalest. The kids were able to visit Casa de los Orduña, the Castle and the reservoir, one of the water supply points in Benidorm, accompanied by a local tourist guide. After the visit, they received t-shirts and souvenirs from their stay.
This week the fourth batch of ‘Summer 2020’ has started. Today, the 30 members of the group have participated in a cinema forum in the Assembly Hall of Benidorm City Council. During the two weeks they will carry out workshops, cultural itineraries, emotional intelligence activities related to the environment, with information and communication technologies, sports, games, hiking, cooking, German language, board and role games or, as today , cineforums.
Among the activities to highlight this fortnight, two guided visits: the first, to ‘Bocal del Calvari’ museum; the second, the recently musalized Roman ‘Castellum’ of Tossal de la Cala, which opened its doors to residents and tourists a few days ago.
