The participants, under 30 years of age, have provided customer service work in different municipal facilities

The five people hired by the City Council for 10 months under the Empuju program have ended their service

29 August 2025
Finalizan su servicio las 5 personas contratadas por el Ayuntamiento durante 10 meses dentro del programa Empuju

The five people hired by Benidorm City Council as part of the Empuju 2024 program completed their service today after 10 months of providing customer service in various municipal buildings and facilities. The Councilor for Employment and Local Promotion, Mónica Gómez, noted that "all of these individuals are young people under 30 years of age who, depending on the case, have worked in the City Hall building itself, in the educational center on Escuelas Street, the Tanit social center in La Cala, the José Llorca Linares social center, and the administrative extension in Maravall."

Gómez thanked these five young people for "their commitment and the work they have done to provide the best public service to citizens," and hoped that "the experience gained during these ten months" will serve to "improve their job placement opportunities, which is the ultimate goal of the Empuju program."

As the councillor pointed out, the City Council received a €66,923.15 grant from LABORA (Valencian Employment and Training Service). The City Council's contribution, in turn, amounted to €35,456.20.
