Today's 'mascletá', set off by Hermanos Sirvent and sponsored by Associació de Penyes, culminated with a large Spanish flag and fired almost 98 kilos of gunpowder

The Festes Majors Patronals put the final point tonight with a day full of celebrations and recreational events. Some brilliant festivities that have been followed by crowds in all the events organized by the Commission and they have also enjoyed an excellent festive and supporters' club atmosphere at night.

This last day began with the popular chocolate in the mayorales tent and then the Festa de les Festes took place, the coexistence of the city's festive entities at Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España. After the usual parade that began on Neptuno Street, the queens, their courts of honor, and the Festes commission welcomed them at the entrance of the tent, where the authorities also met. There, each festive entity has been given a Festival Book as a gift.

At 1 p.m. a children's mascletá and a candy bar were fired in the same square, before the firing of the last mascletá of the Festes, which took place on Jaime I Avenue by the Hermanos Sirvent pyrotechnics. Almost 98 kilos of gunpowder and 426 seconds of duration have once again raised the applause of the hundreds of neighbors, revelers, and tourists who have gathered in the surroundings.

The mascletá was thunderous in its final part and culminated with a large Spanish flag as the culmination of it, which raised the applause of the attendees.
This afternoon, from 6 p.m., the Float Parade will be held, featuring the participation of 35 floats and three more from the queens and ladies. At the end of the event, the fireworks display will be fired from Poniente Beach, marking the end of the 2023 Festes.

Humor Parade Awards

On the other hand, the Coeters penya won the first prize of the Humor Parade, the 'José Manuel Galiana award, sponsored by the Associació de Penyes, worth 1,200 euros. The second prize, 1,000 euros, went to El Cranc Club. The third, with 600 euros, for Bavallons Club, and the fourth, with 400 euros for La Cridá Club. The Comissió de Festes sponsored these last three awards.
