Fervor and devotion to the Mare de Déu del Sofratge in the streets of Benidorm
The streets of Benidorm have once again vibrated with emotion and devotion to the Mare de Déu del Sofratge one more year, in the traditional procession that started at 7:30 p.m. in the Church of Sant Jaume and Santa Anna and has travelled around the center of Benidorm.
Together with the Mayor queens in Children of the Festes Majors Patronals 2022, Aila Merenciano and Chloé D'Hebboudt and their courts of honor, the mayor, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Festivities, Jesús Carrobles, who have been accompanied by members of all municipal groups. The procession traveled through Calle Mayor, Alameda del Mayor Pedro Zaragoza, Los Ángeles and Médico Pérez Martorell, Martínez Alejos Avenue, Paseo de la Carretera, Santa Faz, and Mal Pas and ended in Plaza de Sant Jaume.
