Ferrán Adriá presents in Benidorm his manual to manage successfully in the catering sector
'Mise en place' opens the day FOCUS PYME Marina Baixa, in which companies from various sectors will show their experiences
The great chef Ferrán Adrià, will present next week in Benidorm his guide 'Mise en place', a manual for entrepreneurs to successfully face the start-up or management of a project in the catering sector. The presentation of the guide and the lecture by the chef of international prestige will open the FOCUS PYME Marina Baixa, which will take place on Wednesday, September 27, in the Town Hall of Benidorm and it has been presented today by the Councilor for Employment, Mª Jesús Pinto; the director of the European Center of Innovative Enterprises (CEEI) of Elche, Joaquín Alcázar; Juan Mayor, of Obra Social La Caixa and Pepa Satorres, representing CaixaBank.
Promoted by the Valencian Institute of the Business Competitiveness together with CaixaBank and the Obra Social La Caixa, FOCUS PYME and Emprendimiento Marina Baixa is organized by the Town Halls of Benidorm and l'Alfàs del Pi; the European Center for Innovative Enterprises (CEEI) in Elche; Invattur; the business associations Jovempa, AICO, Abreca-Cobreca and Memba; and Club Empresarial La Marina.
The director of the CEEI explained that "FOCUS events" are designed to "encourage innovation in entrepreneurship and in SMEs that already work". Thus, they are considered as "a day of reflection on the importance of innovation as the great source of opportunities for a new company, or as a lever for those that already exist."
The Councilor for Employment, stressed that "we are many who have worked in this event that is considered as a meeting activity for entrepreneurs," and that constitutes "a unique opportunity to approach a creator of international stature and take advantage of his knowledge and advice ".
About Adrià's guide, the representative of CaixaBank has detailed that this manual "has been developed by a mixed work team" of this entity and of El Bulli Foundation so that "SMEs and entrepreneurs face with the maximum guarantees of success and minimize risks. "
In addition to Adrià's conference, FOCUS has two workshops. The first will serve the participants to learn the experience of four companies in the area that have successfully developed their projects linked to innovation. This workshop will be moderated by Guillermo Campos, Jovempa's president in the region, and will be attended by representatives of Dragonet Communications, Blau Comunicación, Gastroeventos and Grupo Siggo.
The second workshop will be a networking activity by the trainer Beatriz Muñoz, in which attendees will work in a team about a model of sales techniques to produce attractive messages that capture the attention of potential customers.
