2,065 Primary and Special Education students participated, of which 348 works are exhibited
Exhibition of the XXI School Drawing and Painting Contest of La Barqueta at Casa del Fester
Starting today, Casa del Fester 'Diego Cano Enguera' hosts the exhibition of the twenty-first edition of the School Drawing and Painting Contest that, like every year, is organized by the Cultural Recreational Association 'La Barqueta' with the collaboration of Benidorm City Council.
The first deputy mayor, Ana Pellicer, together with the councillors of Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez; Fiestas, Mariló Cebreros; Education, Maite Moreno, other members of the Corporation; and the president of La Barqueta, Francisco Llorens, 'Paco Rosera', took a first tour of the exhibition this morning, along with other members of the jury. The exhibition will open its doors to the general public next Monday, March 4.
This year, 2,065 works made by first, second and third cycle Primary students from all the schools in Benidorm have been presented, of which 348 have been preselected: 120 from the first cycle, 119 from the second, 109 from the third and 12 of Special Education.
The prizes to the winners of this edition of the School Drawing and Painting Contest will be awarded on Friday, March 15, in the Assembly Hall of the Town Hall, one day before L'Alba and the Offering to the Mare de Déu del Sofratge, in the 284th anniversary of the Finding of the patroness saint of Benidorm
