El Espai d’Art del Ayuntamiento alberga una exposición sobre la Semana Santa 2022 en Benidorm

The Espai d'Art of Benidorm City Council hosts from today the first edition of the exhibition and photography contest 'Easter in Benidorm 2022' organized by the Frax Foundation, and in which the City Council, the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Dolores and the Board of Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods of Holy Week in Benidorm. The exhibition, inaugurated by the Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, can be visited until June 22.

The councillor has highlighted that this is the third exhibition inaugurated this week after the exhibition of pens and India ink by Ricardo Martín Llorca in La Casa del Fester and the one inaugurated yesterday 'Punto y continua. Life can do more, which deals with human trafficking.

Jaime Jesús Pérez highlighted at the inauguration that the exhibition "enriches the cultural heritage of the city" and has encouraged the Frax Foundation "to continue with more editions to value the devotion and tradition of Easter in Benidorm".

For his part, the president of the Frax Foundation, Matías Pérez Such, has indicated that the objective "in addition to having one more cultural activity, is that there be an image bank for the Board of Brotherhoods and for the Holy Week City Council local".

Pérez Such has promised "more diffusion" for future editions and has announced that there will be some modifications in the presentation. "This is a pilot test so that in the future it will have more impact," he said.

The exhibition is made up of 32 photographs from last Holy Week. A jury will vote and award the prizes to the best images on a date that has yet to be determined.
